Mercedes S-Class Grand Edition - AMG cosmetics to garner the last sales
It’s usually a fair assumption that when Mercedes launches a car with a ‘Grand Edition’ badge attached to its boot that the end for that model is nigh. And so it is with the Mercedes S-Class Grand Edition. So before the 2012 S-Class arrives with its Magic Sky and Magic Body and Magic everything else, Mercedes has bolted a lot of its high-end cosmetics to the more lowly S-Class models to try and wring the last few sales out of a car that is long in the tooth and no longer as good as the BMW 7 Series, Audi A8 or Jaguar XJ.

Audi Cross Coupe Quattro: the lowdown
This is the first official picture of what will become in 2010 Audi's new Freelander rival, efectively the Q3. It's a baby brother to the Q7 mud-plugger and forthcoming Q5 - but this one is more compact, seats only five and has gone on a crash-diet. End result?
The 2010 Devon GTX, a 650-hp supercar from California design house Devon Motorworks, was shown Saturday at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The speed demon will cost $500,000 and go on sale in the first quarter of next year. Just 36 cars will be produced per year by the company.
